Ben Lee, a consultant from IGamiX, stated that the country has managed to adapt and transform the Macau fixed-room model. Vietnamese gambling mixes it with the Southeast-Asian casual scheme.

The specialist also explained the benefits of opening a wagering project in the state:

• the ease of starting the business;
• wide work possibilities for foreigners;
• a low tax rate, and others.

Fees for VIP activities are 15% on every USD 100 of GGR, whereas, in Macau, this figure is 40%.

Possible Issues of Gambling in Vietnam

There are some downsides that operators need to know about before entering the market:
